BackerKit Survey Instructions! Survey Deadline Aug 1st!

Hi everyone!

Thank you so so much for your patience, BackerKit surveys have just been sent out. You will have until Aug 1st to fill out the survey and add-on additional items if you'd like, after which I'll close BackerKit to finalize item counts! REMEMBER: All costs/prices in the survey are shown in CAD!

♡ BackerKit Surveys - Aug 1st Deadline ♡

Please allow 24 hours for BackerKit to send out all the surveys and make sure to check your spam/trash folders if you can't find it! Below, I'll start to go in-depth on how BackerKit works, please please read this carefully! If you still have any questions or concerns, feel free to message me on Kickstarter or email me at [email protected]

Once you click "Get Started!", you'll see a few questions. The first will be regarding backer responsibilities. IF you chose a tier or bundle that includes items where you need to select a size or style (ex: selecting which of the 2 PJ sets you like, and selecting the size of your apparel/slippers) you will be able to do so via the pledge questions here.

If you used Kickstarter's add-on feature to add on more items, you will be able to select the design for each add-on on the next page.

You'll then be taken to the Add-Ons page where you can see what's in your cart so far and add on more items not included in your Kickstarter pledge if you wish. Added on items (whether through Kickstarter or BackerKit) will show up on the Add-ons section on the right of the image below and the original pledge tier item will be shown under Pledge Level.

♡ Shipping and Address ♡

For all backers, you will be charged the shipping fees through BackerKit. These fees are calculated based on the overall weight of your package and your shipping destination address. All fees are shown in CAD!

On the next page, you will be able to fill out your address. You will be able to change your address all the way up until I've received the products in hand and are ready to ship them out. I'll have another update to notify everyone ahead of time before I close address changes so do not worry if you are planning a move!

♡ Payment Charges ♡

On the last page, you will be able to input your card info oruse PayPal to pay for shipping and any additional add-on items you may have included that were not covered by your initial pledge. Payment charges for cards are currently scheduled to be made on Aug 2nd so please expect your card to be charged on this day!

After you've submitted your survey, you can always go back and edit your choices as long as you do so before your responses are locked on Aug 1st by using the link provided in the original survey email!

We’ve reached the end of the campaign; thank you to all 444 of you amazing backers! I can’t thank y’all enough for making this collection a reality, as it's a project so dear to me that I've been working on for several years ♡

❤ What's next? ❤

In two weeks, I will receive the funds from Kickstarter, after which I can contact my manufacturers to begin production of all the products. If your card was declined, Kickstarter gives you 7 days to fix your payment before your pledge is dropped from the campaign. Please note that I'll not be able to add you back if you're dropped (however there is still a 2 week preorder period later via Backerkit)! Common issues for card declines are: insufficient balance, or your charge was declined by your bank in which case you would have to give them a call!

❤ BackerKit surveys ❤

For this campaign, I will be utilizing BackerKit to collect shipping fees, send out surveys to collect addresses and for you to choose the reward specifics (design/size/etc). I am currently still finalizing the BackerKit survey to ensure there are no mistakes and will be sending them out to everyone in about a week or so! The surveys will be sent to the emails you have connected with your Kickstarter account! Backers who signed in/paid with AppleID, please DM me with an alternative email address or you may not receive your survey!

I'll make a second update once all the surveys have been sent out with detailed instructions on how to use BackerKit. Do watch out for this update and make sure to read it thoroughly as I know BackerKit can be confusing to those who haven't used it before :)

For those that missed out on the campaign, I'll have a preorder store available through BackerKit for two weeks! The store will go live around the same time as when I send out the backer surveys!

❤ Timeline ❤

Here is a quick reminder of the estimated timeline for this campaign! If anything should arise that may delay the timeline, I'll make sure to notify all of you as soon as possible!

TL;DR

• If your payment failed, you have 7 days to fix it before Kickstarter drops your pledge
• A SURVEY will be emailed (in about a week) - you must fill this survey! It is how I collect addresses, and where you let me know reward details (designs/size/etc)
• If you missed the Kickstarter, I will have a 2 week preorder period via BackerKit (PayPal accepted!) that will open the same time backer surveys go out

Last 48 Hrs! 🦦 Lakko's New Outfit Decided! 👔

Hello everyone!

Thank you for all the support to this campaign during the past few weeks. I've tallied up all the votes across different platforms for Lakko's new outfit and the winning outfit design is: Sailor Lakko!

I'm currently in the process of sampling this new outfit so I hope to have photos of it ready soon! The outfit add-on will be approx +$10, and will be an available add-on during the Backerkit survey phase (so no need to take any action now!)

We're now heading into the last 2 day countdown of the campaign so if you have friends/family who may be interested, don't forget to let them know now!!

Hello everyone!

What an absolutely amazing first week of the campaign! I went into this campaign so stressed and nervous about whether people would actually like this collection, or if I was just being too delulu in my otter obsession 🤣 and boy did you guys prove me wrong! I'm so happy to announce we've hit $75,000+ in funding so far!

Last update I asked you guys what your thoughts were on our stretch goals and it looks like most of you have voted for a new outfit for our Lakko plush! Now the question is, what should his new outfit be? I've sketched up the following 7 designs and need you guys' help voting again!

We did it!

Yippee!! I'm so excited to announce that we not only did we hit our funding goal in less than 25 min, we also received the "Project We Love" label from Kickstarter! 🤎  You guys are absolutely amazing, thank you all so so much for supporting me and the sleepytime collection! 🥺 

I'm working on an extra freebie and thinking about additional add-on stretch goals as well! 👀 My current contenders are: 1. new outfits for Lakko Plushie or 2. new PJ set colorway/pattern. I would love to hear you guys' thoughts! Comment below which you'd prefer!
