What is Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform where creators like myself share their projects with the community and backers come together to fund them in exchange for rewards! Backers will only be charged if the funding goal is met and the campaign is successful.

When does payment get charged?
You will be charged for your pledged amount through Kickstarter after the campaign ends! You will then be charged ~separately~ for shipping fees through BackerKit, as the shipping fees are not accounted for in the pledge amount.

Can I pay with PayPal?
Kickstarter does not accept PayPal payments, however Paypal will be available as an option via BackerKit during the 2-week preorder period following the Kickstarter.

Is the cost of shipping included? Do I need to add the shipping costs myself?
Shipping is NOT included in the tier pricing! Shipping will be calculated and charged via BackerKit AFTER the campaign is over based on the weight of your package and your country. Please do not add any shipping costs to your pledge! Please see the shipping costs chart for an estimate of the shipping costs!

How do I choose the PJ design/size that I want?
After the campaign ends, a survey will be sent out via BackerKit that will collect your shipping address as well as allow you to choose the specific design/size of your reward items!

Where do I find size charts for the apparel?

What if I move or change addresses between now and when the rewards ship?
You can edit your address through BackerKit yourself any time you want up until I have the items in hand and am ready to ship them out! I’ll send reminders out to everyone before locking addresses closer to the ship out date.

Can I order/add on more items through BackerKit after the campaign ends?
Yes you can! There will be a two-week preorder period through BackerKit for those who missed out on the Kickstarter/would like to pay using Paypal. BackerKit prices for everything will be the same as non-early bird Kickstarter prices!

Will these products be in your online shop later on?
It depends! While I always order extra stock, there is no guarantee that there will be leftover stock for all rewards to put in my shop after the campaign is fulfilled. Please note that retail prices will also be slightly higher in my shop than on Kickstarter!

Why am I not getting any Kickstarter update/survey emails?
If you use an AppleID with the Private Relay feature to login to Kickstarter, you may not receive your Kickstarter update or BackerKit survey emails. Please contact me via email or Kickstarter DMs with a usable email address to ensure you get the BackerKit survey and future progress updates!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
Note that refunds will not be issued under any circumstances once production has begun, as the funds go directly into production. Shipping is not charged through the Kickstarter. By pledging, you understand and are willing to pay for both the items you pledge for and the subsequent shipping fees charged via BackerKit. Note that backers are also responsible for all customs/VAT fees that may incur. If you do not pay these charges, shipping may need to be paid again if the package is returned to sender, and that no refunds will be issued whatsoever.
